    It appears that your understanding of the situation is the most reasonable, bearing in mind that Langford was not born yesterday and he definitely wants to be around for many-many tomorrows.

    One little thought. Perhaps, on top of buying time to formulate the anticipated Easter deal, theatrics could make it have a deeper market impact.
