I have being called white trash and white c%$? by aboriginals in the past (mostly drunk) and has not affected me the one bit. It's the colour of my skin and I'am proud of it, so should they be and not let it offend them. I just wanted to no why people get offended when a persons skin colour is brought up.
PS: This opinion has nothing to do with the Monkey taunt. But I would think that sub-continent players would have been taunted with a whole lot more demeaning things than been called a monkey in the past. Maybe they have a lot more thicker skin than our aussie cricketers have.
I am Australian and have always supported our cricket team and always will, but our cricket team in the last 10 years under Waugh and now Ponting have lost that appeal that was always with the Border and Taylor years.
