Running discussion on SP, page-184

The request for suspension clearly states regarding the ANN "is expected to be made before the opening of trading on thursday 5th of April." if they are not going to adhere to what is said in an announcement, why is there not at least an announcement explaining why they are running late for this? its not like a drilling announcement where there are so many moving parts of course timelines can get blown, this is a request to halt trading, if they are planning to stay halted beyond what they have requested, surely there should be some simple statement as to why? Certainly not jumping up and down about it, just curious for the betterment of all of our understanding. Has someone with more experience seen this type of thing before?
