Oh dear, a lot of rehashing of old ground here. Let’s look at what the deal is for SK: * They need Cobalt. (70-140kg per EV car) * They need reliability and good governance from the company and the State. * They need a locked up deal. What they don’t need is to be involved with a company that will fall over at the first or second hurdle. What are they putting up? Everything and nothing. They value AUZ at 12c (a bargain at that) so long as AUZ get over the hurdles that are in front of them.. Do they think that AUZ will get production up? You bet they do! They can be expected to take up their options. Are they going to be mugs and put money up before AUZ completes its groundwork with BFS and loan agreements? Why would they? They just don’t have to. Will they be helping AUZ achieve these targets? Are you kidding? Of course they will (..they are) Already they have given AUZ Street credibility. We have seen this with QUALITY Staff lining up to join. I think of it as like the royal approval given to certain products. QE2 endorses a product that she uses. They can tell this to the world. It does not guarantee corporate success but QE2 wants the product to stay viable. She likes it and uses it. The company surely sells more product and perhaps at a premium. (Well not so here, but..) BB said at the AGM that the first Off Takers would get incentives. This helps “oil the wheels” as AUZ moves forward. Everything is going to plan. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
