IMO, I read the situation as follows:-
- Management is not adverse to selling out
- Interest from the Chinese part is serious (but price is not attractive)
- Keen to explore other interests for better bids
Clearly, this may ignite a bidding wars and Optimum may need to up its offer.
Bottom line, shareholder value should enhance.
So the game is on...
