A cyclone doesn't need to go directly over the minesite to impact on production. Note that Category 5 cyclone John in 2000 went right through the Bronzewing area, located in the NORTHERN goldfields in the Yandal Belt.
Have a look at www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/climate/cgi_bin_scripts/tropical_cyclone.cgi and tell me that Bronzewing cannot be affected by cyclones....I seem to recall last year that part of the delay in "ramp-up" was attributed to cyclone related rainfall.
Again, a case of 'inconvenient' facts being rubbished by posters who are too emotionally attached to this stock.
