Dotz is a materials tech company producing quantum dots which are physical nano particles. For anticounterfeiting the type of dot created can be of a specific "wavelength" designed to give it a unique identity for this purpose. A wavelength hardware device can then be used to identify which type of Dot is present. Wavelength scanning devices are not new are are used across all relevant industries and applications and utilising this tech for DTZ purposes does not make them a software company suddenly. You need to understand the science behind it.
