Quite right, Abbott would have a lot of respect if he had kept his word not to undermine, snipe and wreck.
Dare say he would have been deserving of a cabinet position had he kept that promise and made a posative conibution rather than the negative one he is providing.
Heck he could have learnt from the experience and kept the door open for a possible return to the leadership, but no that bridge has been destroyed beyond repair and I doubt there is any desire to build a new one
