As to what happens to the number and value of your individual parcel of shares, if you go with the TO (i.e. you don't sell your shares before it takes effect, if indeed a TO is what eventuates), my understanding is that there would be a buy-out value for AGO shares, say for example 5 cents
. The number of shares you hold then gets divided by the factor of whatever MIN's SP is, divided by 5 cents. For example, MIN is currently $17.24, but for ease of arithmetic, let's say $17.00. Divided by 5 cents is 340. If you had 340,000 AGO shares, you would end up with 1,000 MIN shares worth $17.00 each (or a total of $17,000).
If you compare this with the current AGO SP of 0.019 (let's say 2 cents for ease of calculation), a parcel of 340,000 AGO shares would be worth $6,800. So that would be a sweet profit if you had bought the AGO shares for 0.02 or less. But if you had bought the AGO shares for more than 0.05, you would make a loss, which is why punters are debating what the TO value might be.
