I sort of agree, HO. If information can be leaked like this, just because the market is closed, well, it doesn’t give much confidence about things when the market is open. I tend to think it is wrong to call a TH and then leak prior to the announcement hitting the ASX, but I can understand why it appeals to the Press, they like to make it seem that they’re ahead of the game, even though everyone knows they are not, if they stop to think about it. Of course, we’ve got an ex-newspaperman handling Investor Relations/PR, haven’t we?
Anyway, no harm done I suppose, maybe there’ll be a few extra bits in the actual announcement on Monday.
