There appears to have been a change in plans for the drilling. Haven't seen a post on this possibility - apologies if there has been.
The initial plan for Roche Dur was:

With this there were one or two diamond holes planned on roughly 100m spaced lines.
Compare this to the last month's drilling on 7000N
![]()
Nearly 1800m of drilling in 5 holes versus one planned hole Roche 5B.
There must be a reason for such close spaced drilling that involves some 10% of the budgeted meters for phase 1.
My thoughts
Poor access at the end of the rainy season or some logistical reason? Initially but not likely recently.
To determine grade variability? Too soon and expensive.
Define contacts? Especially the flatter dipping footwall contact. Too soon and at possible depth extent of an open pit

In terms of what a simple predictive model for Roche Dur might be:

I came up with this which IMO shows why there haven't been any real surprises with drilling results to date and hopefully won't be.
