Look at the upside: today's losses are tomorrow's tax credits: when you bounce back you will have a tax free run on the first few bucks (at least that's the line I once pitched my wife when I had a losing streak!).
Reminds me of when I was trading futures many years ago (for a bank): I lost around $250k in just under 30 seconds once: the blood drained from my face, and when I told my boss his complexion was exactly the same! Closed up shop for the day at 8:31am and went and played golf. Best round I ever had (shot +1 at Moore Park). Took me a few weeks to get over it but bounced back and made it all back by the end of the month. Scary at the time though.
