Enough is enough,
WE should not be exporting live animals because:
- we are foregoing Aussie added value
-cruelty to animals aboard ship
-cruelty to animals via halal killing practices
We have gone through this cruelty to animals saga years ago with live cattle exports to indonesia
So what can we do. ?
For me , I,m not buying further lamb or mutton until there is clear evidence that we are treating all our animals humanely. THe supply chain from farm to shipping is responsible and we simply will not tolerate rooting the system by either individuals or companies.
