The whole issue here revolve around Ponting dobbing to the head master. As Kumble said, if Ponting agreed to what he suggested, things would have being quite different. Pontings argument is that the Indians violated the pre match agreement not to use monkey word. I agreed with him until I heard that Roy was the culprit by having a go at Harby for patting someone else while on an agreement with him not to have a go at each other. And Ponting officially dobbing for calling monkey...c’mon get real...monkey is soothing to what they dish out to any opposition ,racial or mothernature.

Simple facts are that Roy cannot help himself not letting the opposition know his presence and Australians cannot simply play the game without that bit of extra agro. The dobbing procedure, started by Ponting, will suit any other team against Australia. Playing without sledging suit the Indians as that how they play the game even with their national enemy Pakistan. Australians often will find themselves in headmasters room if they go about doing what they’ve done to win matches hereafter.

I personally think Tate in place of Hogg to WACA would be a mistake, just for getting at their throats. The Indians have done all that with our best and their own neighbourhood faster bowlers such as Akthar, Sami, Malinger etc and precision throat cutters such as Wasim Akram, Waquar Younis etc. I think the Australians will win at WACA but Brad Hogg would be better at home since we are short of penetrative fast bowlers like McGrath and the Indian batsman will get on with it if they cut through the initial assault.

All in all I think the Australians should go hard for the wins but play entertaining pleasing cricket for everyone to watch.
