I was really impressed by Xi's speech. The impact on prospects for CLQ is fantastic, although that is not what first struck me about it.
Speaking candidly, Friedland to this point has been very balanced in protecting himself from unfair Chinese domination...except that I felt that his position on the ground in China on Pu Neng was a little overboard.
It seemed an incredibly astute move, but that in conjunction with contemplated vanadium mine projects on Chinese soil made me wonder if he was exposing himself a little too much.
It is still a concern, but Xi's speech gives a lot of comfort on it.
