WHA has taken the step, since it's not requiring massive volumes from the get go, to start the use of domestic Organic milk sourcing. Remember that this will take time to come online and if it's one asset i'm sure that will get used it's a spray dryer/wetmix kitchen.

If you're familiar with how Chinese companies operate you'll know that shareholding does not equate to control. They prefer to have controlling stakes in companies that then themselves own controlling interests in assets/companies, which is what is happening here. Mason indirectly controls/significant influence on the JV and supply of Organic milk.

Yes fair enough, if there is demand - Farmers will make the change.

Unfortunately this change is by no means simple in terms of operation or ROI modelling. Your inputs go through the roof, your output can take a haircut and unless you are confident the price is there to stay, your changeover/accreditation costs can throw a real spanner in the works...

Good luck to all holders - Keenly watching what price will be offered for organic dairy farmers at the gate...
