As at 15 November 2007: ORO had 280 million shares on issue after the recent capital placement.
Week end 7/12/07: 74 mil shares traded -- close 2.3c (up 0.2c) high of 3.2cents
Week end 11/01/08: 144 mil shares traded – close 4.1c (up 1.9c) high of 5.2 cents
The big flurry in December did not result in any substantial shareholder notices. I wonder if the 144 million this week will.
Maybe just day traders – but ORO hasn’t really been a stock to attract that sort of activity --- although December’s activity would seem to have been just that.
Unless something special is happening --- the virtual doubling in price this week and the break of 3.2 cents will need some consolidation.
4.1 cents and 4.3 cents are areas of resistance.
I am going to wait and let the situation unfold --- whatever the outcome.
You risk short term gains by holding --- but the big gains will always elude you if we cash in on the first signs of activity.
