How is it not a good sign??
It's funds management pure and simple. Other people have the money invested, MFS make sure it is being well managed. Not hard to think of lots of ASX listed businesses - property and otherwise - that operate on this principle. Everything from MQG and BNB through to the likes of BEC and VPG.
If MFS got Responsible Entity rights for next to nothing, in my books that would be perfect.
