As to what price I would exit, I guess that's relative. Unless something very unusual happens, I'd imagine I'll be exiting this to re-buy another gold "senior", so that's the sort of comparison I'd be making.

I want to see on-the-ground, consistent performance from them, with no nasty surprises. If they can do that, they have fantastic potential. However, they need to prove it.

As I've said before, I wish they'd just come up with an operational production target for 2008, then reduce it by 100koz for public consumption. That way, any future surprises are more likely to pleasant.

The reason for my original post was to point out that it would not be some crazy, insane decision to sell LGL at this time. On paper they look the goods, but then, they always have. The reality on the ground has been something different - not just in the past six months, but for years. I could hardly blame people for being cautious about them.

But, then, I continue to hold a large stake, so for the moment, I guess I'm a "believer".
