Interested to hear your thoughts on food trees that can survive in these conditions i.e. 10 inch rainfall p.a. Many years ago remember reading about carob trees & their potential re food for livestock in low rainfall areas.
Do you have a list of trees suitable for the arid inland of Australia that provide food/carbon credits?
Believe date palms have been grown around Alice Springs but probably only limited market for product & not really suited to mass plantings.
