If you had any capacity to open your ears and take in anything other than the white noise of your own thought bubbles you would see that Jim's point is entirely valid. Your paucity of returns on your investments in individual stock hardly qualifies you as a knowledgeable investor with any capacity to advise others. Not to mention your apparent ignorance of the basics of investing in equities as evidenced by your stream of novice questions repeated over and over throughout your posts til the penny either drops or you put it in the 'too hard basket'.

If you are honest with yourself you would recognise that if you are challenged by the basics, which you clearly are, you are hardly going to be positioned to advise others are you? Hence the reason your preference for letting others decide for you by way of investing in EFT's is the wisest course of action for you until you learn to adopt the right mental approach and spend time and effort developing your understanding of business and the economy at large and how it plays into operating within the stock market.
