Have you ever used Afterpay yourself? I've used it many times (and I earn a wage, not on any Centrelink payments) and so do many of my friends. All good income earners themselves. I bought a bike from Rebel in the Boxing Day sales using Afterpay and instead of paying out a few hundred $ right after Christmas, I was able to spread the payments out until February. I barely noticed the payments coming out and I had the bike to enjoy during the warmer months. I love using Afterpay.
It's also a more secure way to pay. Your credit card details only go to 1 company, rather than every company you shop with online and they are fantastic with refunds if something isn't right. I have zero issues with using Afterpay and would be happy to recommend to friends.
I noticed the announcement says that Catch of the Day has come on board. Last time I was on catch they had Zip as their payment option. Can anyone tell me if this means that Catch have dropped Zip to go with Afterpay? If so, I'd consider that a strong indication that Afterpay is the preferred option with customers and retailers.
