    Toll Roads will be worth far more in the future than they are today, and thats including any oil rise.

    Australia (like many other countries) where the mean and mode of getting about because of geographical diversity is by car. This will not change, but further increase as population and dependancy increases.
    Oil is price inelastic. There are no substitutes. Just mere grunting and complaining will take place. In the end, people will have to use the north-south corridor as explained by RoD,or the CityLink if in Melb. In Sydney, where TCL has basically the links from the outer suburbs (west, north and South) tied up by the M2, M4, M5 and M7. Its a pure monopoly play for the long term and I like it!
