I've recently put this stock on my watchlist as I am attracted to AFGs decent into bargain territory, and this stock IMO is heading that way if we can make sense of the risk that AFG is exposed to. Mind you, anyone entering now can still be burnt big time as there are still some uncertainty in its future earnings post Feb announcement. and the sp show no sign of trend reversal. The 2 previous divi has made no impact on its slide down.
How well will AFG trade in a tight credit market? Is its gearing a cause for concern? Will there be enough demands for its products in a bear market? Hasn't the fall in share price started roughly the same time when subprime reared its ugly head?
My only conclusion is that market liquidity is hampering AFG, perhaps indirectly. If this is the case, we could see further falls, yes?
