Interestingly, SAMHSA had a draft out for the use of sweat, hair or saliva for federal employee testing instead of just urine.

This was in 2004, however the latest ratified information on the SAMHSA website is from 2004 and stipulates urine - no mention of the other methods.

Articles from that time indicated that the ACLU had some issues with it; not sure if it got blocked. Does anyone know of any specific US federal or state legislature that allows saliva based testing?
