What's stopping a person from having multiple trading accounts with the same institution and using them to "bounce" trades off ?
IE, say I buy 100,000 CNP at 1.00 per share with account one.
Then I offer it for sale at say 1.10, and create a buy request for the same amount at 1.10 on the second account, then sell it from the second account for 1.20, buy it back with the first account at 1.20 for instance.
If you were doing this a whole lot (disregarding brokerage fees for this situation) couldn't you potentially artificially inflate the SP ?
