CEO total remuneration per FY17 Annual Report $431k
The company stated that they have around 20 employee's and employee expenses in the FY17 report was 3.96m.
Manufacturer's are certainly not employees.
My understanding is that contractors and employees are entirely different and I would be surprised if the company lumped them together ... if so it would be a miscategorization (in my opinion)
This company needs to demonstrate sales growth and to date its been very disappointing for a product that appears to offer great benefits.
Expenses of 8.5m for a company of this size is not sustainable, either sales increase dramatically or costs are reduced significantly - if this doesn't happen... then capital raises or debt issuance are the only way it gets to continue as a going concern.
It's hard to benchmark - most companies of VIV size are private, also better to think in an absolute sense rather than a relative sense ... who wants to be the tallest dwarf in the room? (apologies for that politically incorrect metaphor but I'm trying to make the point)
