Yes, there are Pro's & Con's of course as well.
In Oz we have substantially higher Infrustructure & Labour costs but that is offset by the Political Stability atoned in this country.
Overseas mines (particularly Asia, Africa, LatAm & ex USSR) enjoy very low Labour costs but this can sometimes come at a cost, Political instability. KCN was a recent case and there have been many many others as well.
