Agree this technical banter doesn't matter that much, so I'll keep this post brief for those still following along...

The gold line is a depiction of the amount pressure created by the pixel(s) pulse throughout a clock tick, not the pixel movement or a sound wave. The graphic of the the actual pixels and their positions shows they remain latched in the top position until the second half of the sine wave needs to be created.
