The reason I know this is that I was offered stock by the broker concerned. It is hardly insider trading. They're in a trading halt so that the raising can be organised and calls can go out to people such as myself with everyone on an equal footing. I think you'd agree that the people doing the raising and participating in it have to actually know about it!!
I just read the thread and thought I would save you all from guessing. Do you think I shouldn't do that next time?
