I think that a better comparison - as has been made before - is PDN.

If you look back 4 years to July 2004 you can see it progress in a similar manner to CVI so far - an exuberant rise followed by consolidation.

The price through these stages is pretty much double CVI's, so with playful extrapolation we have -

50 cents - Feb 7 2008
1 dollar - Sep 14 2008
2 dollars - Mar 20 2009
3 dollars - Nov 6 2009
4 dollars - Dec 27 2009

Fits much better than GDN from my point of view from a chart and fundamentals point of view!
