yes kinsella i have read that too in MOST if not all the major newspapers. But personally, i doubt it. If markets get smashed, dont think that people will run straight out to buy property. Many will first have to deal with margin calls and once they are through that they will probably sit back and keep whats left of what they had. Cash is after all paying 6.5%, and thats not bad. The only problem is inflation.
