That is utter crap. You're the one full of it. I've hardly engaged with you to argue the case for Quindell one way or the other. For the majority of time I ignore your insults and arrogance.
Of course I was wrong if purely measured by a SP and an investment loss, that stands to reason. I can't change what people may think about that and frankly on an anonymous forum I don't care.
I have an opinion and I don't see things as black and white 'wrong'. I'm satisfied that my decision to invest in Slater & Gordon was the correct one at the time. I had a valid reason and that is all that matters to me. Yes, I've learned lessons and that is fine, that is why I say no regrets. What you and others don't know (or should care to know) is the little extent of SGH damage to my wealth in the bigger picture. It is akin to thinking the world has caved in because a $5 noted slipped out of the pocket walking down the high street.
You don't know whether I cut my losses (change opinion), let profits run or what I do elsewhere.
Led down the garden path? What does that mean. I'm just one of tens (hundreds) that post on here, why should my thoughts be any different to others in respect of stand up and take notice?
What happened to responsible for own actions? This 'led down the garden path line' is ridiculous. Yes I once had a very positive outlook on the company, so what? If it was always such a bad investment as your 'after the event' soundbites suggest' then the rational investor would have just ignored my view or put up a rational argument. By the way, virtually all commentators also had a buy on SGH post PSD, just saying, not suggesting that alone is a reason to invest. It was hardly in the speculative class.
My posts of a year and further back had been for one reason only, to generate worthwhile conversation. I haven't shouted anyone down other than those that deserve it for hurling abuse. Show me where I have shouted down Grant62 - no you can't. Grant has been negative about SGH since the $6 2015 SP and I respect that because he put up credible arguments. It was great - and respectful - conversation at the time despite different views.
There is no worthwhile conversation here now so I admit there is no real reason to be on this forum. I just find it entertaining at times.
