It is pretty silly that someone can FLOOD a stock specific thread telling everyone their investment will down, based on predictions of the DJIA, when there is a DJIA thread.

Why aren't these warnings and doom and gloom posts being posted in every stocks thread? If it applies to CVI, it applies to them.

I think most of us know how to access the DJIA thread if we are interested in reading about it. And I do. But when I am on CVI, I want to read specific things about the company,a nd enjoy some banter with the regulars that make it both INFORMATIVE and FUN. I will make my own mind up as to what influence the dow will have.

'Hey guys, the dow is going to drop by 500 points, and if it does, CVI will also drop' - gee thanks for putting 2 and 2 together for us! If terrorists fly planes in to buildings I am pretty sure CVI will go down as well. But would we put up with posts on the matter every second day?
