    Hi Jaws,

I have not been clear in the point I am making.

APG will be testing 3 different bulk samples of ilmenite.
I think success with any of the 3 will lead to great things and be an industry maker.

If there is sufficient need there will be extraordinary research input.

I will illustrate by pointing to another industry.

Monsanto Chemicals introduced Glyphosate ( "Roundup" as you know it ) in 1974.
This occurred because the green movement was agitating re DDT & 2-4-5 T....which was going to be phased out.
Monsanto subsequently enjoyed monopoly profits for 15 years and are perpetuating them in a different development form with genetically modified seed that are compatible with their own Roundup....and not immitators

This all came about by accident in the laboratory.
Rigorous testing was done on many chemicals and results were discarded.
When a lab assistant DID NOT dispose into the bin an experiment that did not respond with an observable result within 10 days (which was standard lab practice )....Roundup was discovered. Yellowing of the leaves was observed after 14 days, further elapse of time showed it would kill certain plant life and Roundup was born.

So I say the need exists.
The research has and is occurring.
12 long years of research HAVE gone in ....so there is not much further time to wait.

    Success is at hand.
