smart money got out about May 07, and into property......hence the hot property market which is still going strong in inner city suburbs.......todays papers, Perth has burst out of its little slump, and 65000 people took out their first home loans in Nov 07, after the Oct 07 interest rate rises..............??????? no slump or drops on those figures..........
and again I believe the idea that your DYO Super fund can buy property with a different trust holding the mortgage ( superfunds are not allowed to have borrowings) is adding fuel to the market.............its the first time its ever been allowed since 1.07.07..............
the US housing going thru the worst slump in 27 years......does not appear to be impacting here............and like a lot of players in any money game......they dont sit by and watch a recession take place..they do something about it, to stop it happening......see todays news about congress and bush etc agree on housing and mortgage answers to stop the carnage.........
I am a glass half full person........versus glass half empty, you have your opinions and I have mine.......lets come back again in a years time to assess it..........
