Aminex (Nvodu) is the operator for this well, just as it was in the first well drilled at Nyuni 1A which you attribute to Bounty? As such, they made all of the decisions and directed the drilling and evaluation of Nyuni 1A. This current well is no different in that Aminex is operator and is directing all of the drilling and evaluation decisions.
The big difference is that Aminex learned from their last experience (I think) and obtained a better drilling contractor.
While I like the Key management, I think it would be unfair to blame Bounty for the lack of success in the first well, just like it would be unfair to blame Key for any negative outcomes in this well. They are along for the ride just like Bounty.
That said, lets hope something positive transpires on the next three to four weeks.
