Lew, if you're talking conventional weapons, I would say you could be right. BUT.......if they attacked with nukes, I would say no....
After the aggression shown towards Russia by the US, if the US did a first strike on China, the Russians would join in with their nukes. That's my opinion, anyway.
Putin stated in one of his relatively recent speeches (mainly over the encirclement of Russia by US/Nato), that when his red line is crossed, he will strike without warning with his nukes. Even his intended targets were listed (including 3 in Australia). Thus, if the US/NATO struck China without warning, Russia would know it will be next, and launch. I dont think the US/NATO could defeat both countries at the same time.
That would affect the whole world, even us. Hope it doesnt go that way, mate. Gets scary when you think about it.
