Today, the entire international subsea industry was still out there doing as it normally does everyday; despite what some might think. There is no reason to suddenly change thoughts on Neptune's future in the slightest. It remains a rapidly growing business in a lucrative industry.
If the entire network of rigs and pipelines across the planet stopped pumping, got decommissioned and pulled up overnight to help cause the plunge in the market, then I simply hope NMS got the contract to do it! lol
I don't know about others, but I didn't buy "the market" when I started accumulating NMS. I bought part of an ongoing, growing and successful business. The company is still due to make a load of profit in 2008/2009, so there is little need for concern.
All that has changes is that it has become an obvious buying opportunity for all those complaining they were only offer $5,000 in the SPP.
