    sue12...

Did you actually read my post?

I have noticed in recent days you have made certain statements about CVI that clearly show you do not actually understand their business model, their assets, nor their current corporate focus.

I also notice you have basically avoided every detailed question put to you about specific CVI related matters...typically answered by discussion other stocks...are we to take it you don't actually know much about CVI?

In light of your response to me, what exactly can you tell us about Cameroon and North Matanda? I referred to this as the fall-back assets in Cameroon, in the post you suggested was a good one.

I cn tell you CVI have presidential approval to proceed to acquire an effective 40% here...if they choose...the terms of which have been already agreed on.

Their due diligence shows an extremely profitable proposition...with some 24mmmbls (net) to CVI from a proven 60mmbls accumulation...that's P1...with up to 300mmbls P3, although I suspect they will need to drill one more well to get definitive numbers.

Surely however, you would agree this is a significant asset?

This accumulation is hardly "nothing"...and has been confirmed in official ASX release...however as I mentioned in my post, I suspect this is simply a fall-back for CVI in the event they do not get the main prize here, which of course is a position in the Niger Delta, most likely on or near the Bakassi Peninsular.

This is of course all in addition to the current Kwanza Basin concessions.

So...which aspect of this is not attractive to you? Then again, the fact you are on these threads suggest you obviously are.

But you are right...the market wants a more definitive position...something they can bank...such is the nature of a brainwashed, ultra-conservative and incapable of free-thought wider market.

They will come...no doubt when things are so painfully clear my dog could see what is going on, for which they will pay a hefty premium, telling themselves this was "worth" it for the "safety" of a delayed entry.

For me, the story is more or less unchanged since 6.5c...but I guess that is the value of thinking and researching for one's self and not simply following the pack?

I have to say, I am so over the two-faced posting regime of many on this site, who do not realise the value of what they appaently set out to destroy with every post!

As small retail, we can fight amongst ourselves in a sort of "biggest ego wins" scenario, scrounging over the dregs that the "suits" leave behind for us...or we can use places like HotCopper to pool our collective intellects, experience and numerous specialised areas of knowledge to gain a real edge on the wider market.

Where else can you gat a real-time, intra-day assessment of a company changing announcement, released just minutes prior, then act on it within seconds?

In this regard, we as a collective have a powerful tool at our disposal...compare this to a high-end brokers client, who's broker needs to disseminate any company announcements, assess then prepare a report, no-doubt cross-checked within the office, after which it is sent out to their "priority clients", some of whome may be lucky enought to get a call.

lol...in the meantime we have assessed, discussed, argued between ourselves, researched...and possibly bought (and maybe even sold), the stock in question...and all before lunch!

Where this fails for everyone however is when agenda driven, mindless rabble infect the threads with empty self-obsessed rhetoric, designed for no other purpose than to help their own positions in or out of a stock, or worse, to pursue some childish ongoing little man vendetta, because their feelings were once hurt by someone game enough to speak the truth about their destructive posting patterns.

I am not talking about posting genuinely negative or positive aspects about a stock by the way, both of which should be encouraged by all in the interests of a truly balanced view, but the agenda driven diatribe that does little but destroy the value of the site for everyone, for what amounts to a basically selfish agenda, should really just stop for the interests of all.

    Cheers!
