I think you have to engage whoever - Not sure ANSI would be quick enough. I think you could engage many universities that would have the credibility to substantiate the testing equipment and tests applied.

Well, I am not sure they could compete on price so actually, I don't think they had any choice - they had to prove that theirs was substantially better to justify the price. The question is surely this was an identifiable issue when they went into it at first. Surely I would want to know what I had created had value and the only way to do that would be testing. I am not sure at times that this company has street smart people and considering the remuneration for members of the previous board composition I am horrified that no-one thought to ask the question. "well how much better is our product?" How do you decide pricing policies, marketing approach, product positioning, and potential customers without understanding what the different products actually do?

So yes they need outside verification especially seeing as we have a credibility gap, however, it could at first just be respected external people with credibility.
