volt, of course I have no idea about the long term. Inflation vs sentiment vs hard asset values, and asset values in general.. all too complicated to have a traders view, unfortunately. I'm just looking for a likely turn, and i think the markets are around those levels where a turn can be expected (on some key measures). I have no idea if its a long term change of direction or a short term bounce. The alternative is a crash in one day or two, which I think is unlikely unless the monoline situation gets out of hand, in which case its the end of the world as we know it, paper money will be asswipes, we'll all be poor as mice, so who cares.. but pretty unlikely situation really.. and if it comes true, we'll all just need to learn to play a different game..
