What is happening with the ASX?
If anyone can help me explain the following I will be eternally grateful.
I had a buy order for 3,000,000 CTM at 1.2 cents with ANZ in a rather lengthy 1.2 cent queue.
Although I was very near the top of the queue after 20 days my order was due to be purged after 21 days due to ANZ's terms and conditions.
I phoned ANZ and requested that they didn't purge the order.
ANZ said it was an ASX requirement that the order was purged and there was nothing that could be done about it.
ANZ purged my order but the 3,000,000 buy order remained in the queue, (now 2nd from the top at 3,000,000 @1.2 cents). It has not changed in the order detail since I placed the order.
My big question is who the hell took over the buy order once my order was purged by ANZ????
