Just wondering did u get a chance to read new changes to NAIF funding Mandate.
In my understanding, they have redefine the Infrastructure and
I think now they can lend money to SFG but I could be wrong.
If u want u can search for naif news or
http://www.naif.gov.au/media-and-publications/
And click on Naif welcomes investment mandate change
There are couple of changes I thought would benefit SFG
1) with the new defination of infrastructure that means SFG can build all their processing, hatchery etc plant. And it says they can build supply chain operating assets, which can include grow out ponds in my opinion.
2) before they can only get 50% of loan they need to get other 50% by themselves. Now its 100% loan.
SFG were and I think still are seeking fund from NAIF if they can. I do not know what they are planning to use money for. But they have mention that on their presentation and in their new website as well.
This is from their latest presentation on asx listing page 17
"Concessional loans to support the project are under discussion with the Northern Australia
Infrastructure Facility (“NAIF”)"
This is only my opinion though I could be wrong but I am really optimistic and I really do strongly beleive the new changes with NAIF will benefit SFG.
