The majority of WA mining workers aren't on 200k. However we do have a very strong economy generally with alot of migrants and interstaters coming over here to live.
There are no doubt other booming parts of Australia where house prices have risen. If you bought 10 years ago or even 5 ago I doubt very many would be behind and the vast majority way ahead.
