Yes I read that but if you read down a bit further in the article you will see that that si overridden by the comment ( I think it is from David Salisbury the CEO ) that the costs are "less than US$10 a barrel"
Now I have been told that same figure and have been told that cost includes (1)production cost, (2)transport cost of shipping to refineries, (3) the leasing cost of the FPSO.
I have seen another poster some weeks ago quoting that the JV had indicated the A$10 cost plus A$3 for transport. That may have come from an AWE source but I am unsure of that.
However if you converted US$10 all up cost into A$ maybe you would come close to A$13. Bit late for me to do those calculations tonight !!!!
Anyway I am sticking with the figure that I have been given and that the NZOG CEO seems to think is correct.
