I think the aussie market saw this coming clearly from CME futures trading and what the other markets were doing. People are shyte scared with Martin Luther King DAy and being exposed overnight.
I have no doubts tomorrow being another down day. In in 1987 I got caught out like everyone else. Fridays trading was heavy and down I believe but Mondays trading was down in Aus but not panicky like today. Lucky tonights closed in US it might give u an opportunity to get out tomorrow. Why would u wait till wednesday?
Just wait for a few weeks and get over the sell off and buy back cheaply. If 1987 taught me one thing is that in down
markets (may I add this, like Rene Rivkin said in 1987, is the end of the bull market), that what u thought was cheap today in all likelihood will be cheaper tomorrow.
Buy big caps, keep out of specs and small caps and pick over quality mid caps.
