30 min fast charging to 100% is reality now. New BMW can do it, its only going to get way better in the next couple of years, as zscal said most people don't drive more than 100km a day. I'd much prefer to get 3-4 days out of an EV and come home, park it in the garage and get it fully charged in the time it takes me to have a bog and a cofffee. High hopes if you think it will ever come to $20 to fill you're V8, plus I'd rather have a quick family EV SUV that would chop you're V8 like you were driving a tractor.
