    phuket guy:
Regarding your point 6: "......say I can see that most logically a deal should/could ultimately be done with a large German Company.....".

phuket guy: Interesting thought. And strangely enough, there is a strong HISTORICAL connection between Germany and Namibia, i.e. in 1884 Bismarck claimed the areas as "German South West Africa". A bit later, this attracted a large influx of German settlers. In 1903 there were 3700 Germans and by 1910 their number had increased to 13'000.

Personally, my speculation about who the deal will be with is a different one, i.e. my asssumption resp. pure GUESS is that Glencore will want to fully protect their world-wide leading position in COBALT by diversifying their footprint and add Namibia to their main DRC exposure.

Only time will tell, of course. And if or rather WHEN a deal will come about, it will not really matter too much with which company it will be but rather how GREAT such a deal will be for the CLA share-holders.

All the best to all CLA holders and buyers.
