Hundreds and hundreds of directors buy and sell shares in their own companies each year. All the companies are in business and as such many, if not most, would be continuously tendering and negotiating for ongoing work as part of everyday business.

The Fluence Directors are probably in at low ball prices well under today's price, so would still sitting on big profit. Who would want to buy today with the sp in long term decline?

Henry's options issue was disappointing imo. I wouldn't waste my time re reading the fine print but from memory about 10 million or so options were issued to him in mid 2017 with a 2025 strike price of 93c which was the same price as the sp at the time the options were issued. So if in 2025 the sp is 10c higher than at the time of options issued in 2017 then Henry gets to pocket about a million risk free bucks. If he had confidence in his own ability to significantly grow the company over that period of years then in my view I don't know why at least some sort of hurdle was not set regarding the 2025 strike price eg $2.00 sp.
I don't know that Mr Market was impressed with his options issue as that was about the time the sp tanked and started its long term decline.
